Turning radius, speed and inclination of eight sustainable mobile artifacts are chosen as the three main design elements for this project. They are organized in an incremental order for departure at the main entrance, exit and the center of the building (block #7) of the Eastern State Penitentiary; these mobile artifacts are simplified into outlines and extruded along their turning radii, as well as joined and positioned in their inclination angles. There are a series of connections between each extruded artifact, which was designed as a pathway that transformed from one member into another. Last, the penitentiary was craved by the new inventions to create new spaces by patching between the cellblocks and walls.
