Derived from the study of the form of artist Max Bill's "Endless Ribbon" sculpture, our concept is that a single, continuous line whose unconstrained movement, as a whole is dependent on the natural flow and degree of fold of each of the six distinct segments.

The idea of enclosure as stimulated by the understanding of the notation of a hat is presented by the model in a serious of spaces that are formed by the natural curve of the surface of the line, as well as the possibility of the line to extend and create new systems of enclosure. The natural condition of the line is further represented by the connection that relates the individual cards to one another, as there are no fasteners or rubber bands involved; the connection not only secures the cards but provides structure to the object in its entirety.
