Fall 09! Another fall...

I haven't touch the blog for a while. So much to do and so much to talk about. Entering my final year for my master of architecture. Well, first year of the second master. Ouch...! Anyway, I am GOING to Costa Rica on Oct 24th with my studio. This is going to be fun; site visit and research. Rincón de la Vieja!

I am too busy to post anything now. All I want to say is that I will invite all my friends to my future home in Marin later this next summer. Let's wait and see.

My legs are so sore because i "arnolded" them hard last night. i am looking forward to this weekend, because i really need to get some thesis work done. Things are getting a little serious. Maybe i spent too much time on my 3G S for the Mafia War. It's a cool game. Time to get lunch. Peace out.

correct, i don't have a graphic design degree; but guest what? i scored a graphic design job for this summer. i do architecture, i do product design. i guess i do graphic too.

No need to say much about this one. It's a beautiful thing to share. I rendered, I drew, I modeled - 3D & physical... and so much more in the summer of 2008. Everyone got a piece of this. A great team work. Srdjan was the man! I miss that dirty burrito from 17th and Spruce. Damn!

A great experience with my classmates from UPenn School of Design: Margaux Schindler, Kristen Smith (check out their work @ the PennDesign studio gallery. Of course, they are super!). Kevin and Thad were super as well. Ben...? Where are you? Anyway. please take a look and smile like you mean it. I must say this: What a nice day in Napa, California! Just 55 minutes away from home, a visit at the Dominus Winery in Napa Valley. Designed by my 501 studio professor's professor Herzog & de Meuron.

The Dominus Winery opens to the public 11 times a year. October is the harvest season, so they close. The owner visits the winery 5 times a year. What a money dude! You must make an appointment for your visit. Let's keep this short, it was great. You can't taste their wine, you can't buy their wine at the winery. If you are money, you can make whatever rule you want.

No sleep is a normal thing from us, or you stay no shower for a night or two is usual. Girls with greasy hair, dudes? go figure. It was a good semester; I must say. When i look back at last semester, WTF... I can't design? I can't think? I don't know what the hell i am doing here in grad school? speak no English? I can't use that project for anything, nothing, wasted... I am more than just mad. Just a big disappointment. The dude gave up on you. I am not going to common on this particular issue. He is a good guy. I respect him a lot, i blame myself too.

I am going to update my website in January. A brand new site features my undergrad and graduate work. I have to spend some time to structure the site and work with my web buddy Law over the break. Fall 08, a great group of people; of course a great leader. My final project will be posted on the site... hopefully in mid or late Jan. I mean... my project is not the greatest; what is greatest or best really mean? I careless if i am the topdog, i just produce hard and be happy with the outcome. They say no... it's not good enough, i'll fix it and make it sexy.

By the way, they dismissed the Via bullxxxx. What a waste of time, of course my time. So i had a meeting with the xxxx second in charge. The first thing she asked me in her office was "you know who i am right? ....." Come on, you can scare me like that? How professional. Immediately, i think she is weak. Just lame. "you know who i am right?" Do i really give a crap about that? Even if you were G.W.Bush. I wouldn't care... No overpowering! I pay you $37,000 a year. You ask me that? Do i know who you are...?

Before i peace out, i think this is a money shot. They had problems with it. No one is perfect. I am happy with it because i tried.
